Warnow Pass
As a holder of a Warnow Pass marked "SozT" you have the opportunity to obtain tickets at a reduced price.
The Warnow Pass is issued by the Hanseatic and University City of Rostock (Hanse Job Centre or Office for Youth, Social Affairs and Asylum).
Requirements: Proof that you draw social benefits
- according to SGB II (ALG II) from the Jobcenter
- or benefits according to SGB XII (social assistance)
- or benefits according to the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act (Asylbewerberleistungsgesetz) from the Social Welfare Office.
Reduced tickets
The following WarnowPass tickets are available at a reduced price:
- Single Ticket WarnowPass (€ 2.10 instead of € 2.80)
- Day Ticket WarnowPass (€ 5.40 instead of € 7.10)
- Weekly Season Ticket WarnowPass (€ 21.00 instead of € 28.00)
- Monthly Season Ticket WarnowPass (€ 60.00 instead € 79.00)
Area of Validity
The WarnowPass Tickets are valid
- in Rostock throughout the entire route network
- or in the region in the selected tariff zones
- in all means of transport (bus, tram, suburban train, ferry)
Buying reduced tickets at the ticket machine
The reduced-price tickets for holders of a Warnow Pass or a Ehrenamtscard (Volunteer Card) are displayed separately as a separate ticket on our ticket machines.
When purchasing tickets, please select the "Reduced Tickets" section on the start page. You will then receive a selection of the corresponding tickets and select the "Single Ticket WarnowPass" or "single ticket Ehrenamt" here. The same rule applies to day and season tickets.
