Reason for the ferry cancellation
As part of a research project on automation in water transport, the electric ferry will be equipped with additional measurement and computer technology in various stages. The first installation work on the ferry will take place on 10 March 2026. The numerous sensors installed will later be used to record, among other things, docking and departure behaviour, weather conditions and obstacles on the water.
