Reduced ferry service between Gehlsdorf and Kabutzenhof
From Wednesday 27 May 2026 up to and including Friday 29 May 2026, there will be restrictions on the ferry service between Gehlsdorf and Kabutzenhof.
Wednesday (27 May 2026)
There will be no ferry services between Gehlsdorf and Kabutzenhof from approximately 10:00 to 15:50.
The last departure from Gehlsdorf: 09:40.
The last departure from Kabutzenhof: 09:50.
Regular service is expected to resume from 16:00. The first service will depart from Gehlsdorf.
Please use our bus and tram services as an alternative.
Thursday and Friday (28 and 29 May 2026)
There will be no ferry services between Gehlsdorf and Kabutzenhof from around 09:15 on 28 May until the end of the following day, 29 May.
Last departure from Gehlsdorf: 09:00.
Last departure from Kabutzenhof: 09:10.
From Saturday 30 May 2026, the ferry will resume its regular service.

Reasons for the ferry cancellation
The ferry is undergoing its main technical inspection, as well as modification work as part of a university research project on automation in water transport.
